Sonnet 130

My mistress eyes are nothing like the sun

"to find someone who will find you beautiful, or vise versa, one does not have to have angelic qualities in order for you to find them attractive.
The simple idea is that you may not look like a goddess, but being human and imperfect is a more appealing than the idea of waiting forever for somebody who will appeal to you in every way, and anybody who describes their beloved as such, is deluded." *

In Love with Shakespeare

Can I make him want to marry me?
Me thinks not.
Being in love, expressing love
Provoking images
Commitment
Entrapment
Marriage
'Til Death Do Us Part

Such appreciation doesn't happen overnight. Appreciating someone or something is a process that develops over time . .

like fine wine (so they say)

We've had these bottles of homemade wine in the basement since the 70s (dad died in the winter of 77-78) . . Some have turned to vinegar . . There is a metaphor here . . An image that can be used (most likely already has) for a foreshadow (literary device.

Every time I see a new production, particularly, but not limited to, productions that are placed in a completely different time and place, A contemporary setting  the 1920s, 30s, 60s.  An artist's workshop (or was it a gallery?). Breathing new life into certain characters, sheds light . . Opens my eyes ears heart

Through the years,  I have come to understand and appreciate this brilliant fellow and his work much, much, much, much more.

Appreciating Shakespeare for his insight into the human psyche, the social dynamic . . .
Empowers us with knowledge of ourselves and others, his comedy pokes fun at our human condition, his tragedies, the painful realities.

Brilliance can be cultivated.
One must simply be open to it.

THIS IA A WORK IN PROCESS THIS IS A WORK IN PROCESS THIS IS A WORK IN PROCESS

This is the way I work at it
Disjointed stream of consciousness just jotting it down to save it
And I will come back to it time and again

"Though this be madness, there's method in't"
